Abstract

In this paper is described the process for design and making of land drilling machine, it will be used for doing holes to moorings with this size diameter 32 mm and 12000 mm, that it will be used for slope stabilization. The land resistance, the force and the required rotation speed for making the hole, were considered in the design process. The some mechanical parts were dimensioned to allow the movement and force transmission, considered the different stresses by which are submitted the parts and added the safe factor in order to machine to be designed. The machine used hydraulic system for longitudinal and transverse movement. Lastly, the economical evaluation was done considered the inversion return in the time and the building local cost was compared with the import price of equipment as the same features.
