Abstract
El artículo presenta al teletrabajo como la última trasformación del trabajo a través de la historia del pensamiento económico. Se analiza desde diversos aspectos tales como su concepto y propuesta de clasificación, el derecho laboral, la motivación y el perfil de los teletrabajadores así como sus áreas de aplicación.
El teletrabajo es una tendencia laboral actual que está trasformando la idea de que el ser humano debe salir de casa y trasladarse físicamente a un lugar para trabajar, hoy día el trabajo puede realizarse en cualquier lugar en el que se cuente con computadora e internet, este hecho requiere analizar los cambios en materia económica, administrativa y jurídica que conlleva.
