Abstract

One of the key factors that today is being positively encourage in almost any activity is “innovation”. The most successful contemporary businesses are the most innovative, for example, Google that is impacting the business world with its innovative solutions, but also the academic world. At a country level, innovation is also a determining factor for productivity and economic growth; it is so important that it is taken into account in the global competitiveness index of the Worldwide Economic Forum. For our countries to go forward in economic and human development, we should make innovation a priority, as source of change, breaking old paradigms and changing the way we think.
