Abstract
El desarrollo del pensamiento es una parte fundamental en la formación integral de la persona, pero hablar de este tema dentro de la filosofía implica trascender las estructuras biológicas, fisiológicas y psicológicas para analizar otras más profundas, como los valores, la concientización, la alteridad, el sentido de la vida y la libertad. Estos temas, ya olvidados en la actualidad por el vertiginoso avance de la tecnología, las comunicaciones y la ciencia, deben ser abordados para hallar respuestas a los desafíos de una sociedad cada vez más compleja.
Sin duda la educación juega un papel muy importante en el desarrollo del pensamiento, de ahí que ella sea la vía correcta para dar el primer paso en la transformación de la realidad, a través del aprendizaje de la filosofía.
