Abstract
Esse artigo tem como proposta questionar as reais necessidades de um ensino voltado para a reflexão rigorosa e radical que possibilitaria passar do senso comum a uma atitude filosófica pela qual o professor-educador poderia adquirir ou reformular pressupostos e conceitos que fundamentem uma boa argumentação docente sinalizando com novas perspectivas para a formação de professores em nossas licenciaturas. A Filosofia é a ciência das ciências, pois o conhecimento científico busca nela sua fundamentação crítica e teórica. A educação é um processo social, baseado em valores, que tem como objetivo uma ação transformadora na vida do ser. O educador deve estar preparado para compreender seu aluno de forma totalitária integral, estimulando no aluno o pensamento filosófico para o fortalecimento do ser.
