Abstract
En este artículo, se muestra la importancia de los relatos en general y los relatos de vida en particular para la construcción del conocimiento moral. Siguiendo algunas de las tesis de Paul Ricoeur, se destaca la relación entre vida y relato y la naturaleza ética de las narraciones, para luego mostrar la relevancia que ellas tienen para la creación, transmisión y conservación del conocimiento moral. Por lo mismo, se afirma la necesidad de ser receptivos frente los relatos del pasado y del presente y dar la oportunidad para que las personas puedan contar sus historias de vida de modo que puedan articular exitosamente sus identidades morales.
