Abstract
El presente artículo propone algunas reflexiones sobre el tema del conocimiento, su construcción y las posibles implicaciones para la educación. Esta reflexión se hace desde el enfoque sistémico e integra conceptos como los de intersección, proceso, sistemas observados y observadores, autopoiesis, neguentropía, complejidad y diferenciación, que se vinculan con algunas nociones básicas de filosofía oriental, planteando la premisa de que el proceso de construir el conocimiento conduce a un incremento en el nivel de la conciencia, lo que en la tradición más clásica se conoce como un sendero de iluminación.
