Abstract

La educación se encarga de viabilizar el conocimiento y en esta complicada labor, descuida el papel central del educando. En la tarea educativa se manifiesta una excesiva preocupación por lo que se enseña, evitando ver lo que realmente es prioritario para la educación: el educando. La mediación del docente es la que debe ofrecer las herramientas necesarias a los educandos para que construyan un conocimiento válido, procurando que aprendan a conocer su conocimiento, para que construyan una estructura de pensamiento que, al ser contrastada con la realidad, comprueba o no su validez. En la tarea educativa se reflejan innumerables elementos que van configurando al educando como sujeto de cambio, es en él donde se fragua la posibilidad de concebir una realidad distinta cada vez que se apropia del conocimiento. Y si bien las construcciones fracasan, es necesario que exista este tipo de caos para que surja un orden. Como diría Ausubel, el educando es quien asimila, acomoda y ahora aplica lo que conoce.
