La construcción del conocimiento en el Curso de Probabilidad y Estadística utilizando Moodle / The building of knowledge in the Course of Probability and Statistics using Moodle

Abstract
El presente trabajo se refiere a las experiencias en la construcción del conocimiento con la implementación del Curso de Probabilidad y Estadística en modalidad mixta (integración de aulas virtuales en la educación presencial), también conocido como ambiente b-learning, utilizando Moodle, para disminuir la brecha digital entre las nuevas generaciones (nativos digitales) y los docentes (migrantes digitales), con el fin de que en las incursiones iniciales en el uso de las TICs se cometan menos errores en áreas como cobertura e inclusión, pero también en aspectos relacionados con pertinencia, eficacia, flexibilidad e innovación.
A finales de 2009 se realizaron las primeras experiencias en el uso de las TICs mediante la implementación de un aula virtual en la Carrera de Ingeniería Química de la Escuela Politécnica Nacional (EPN), estableciendo un espacio de reflexión en torno a la planificación de la enseñanza y el buen uso de la tecnología, y procurando que el ambiente de aprendizaje haga énfasis en la construcción del conocimiento a través del trabajo colaborativo.
